Vishal Arrives On Bike For SIAA Meet, Sets Agenda To Address Sexual Harassment Grievances
Tamil actor Vishal was seen riding on a bicycle as he arrived for SIAA meeting recently. He also interacted with his fans and addressed the media.
Tamil actor and producer Vishal has been active in the Indian film industry for over two decades. He is the General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam which recently convened for a meeting to set its agenda, including a body for assessing the safety of women professionals in Kollywood.

In the viral clip, Vishal was seen arriving on a bicycle to attend the annual meet of South Indian Artists Association in Chennai. He sported a white shirt and a blue jeans and interacted with his fans near the entrance of the meeting venue.
Upon his arrival, Vishal was welcomed by one of the many members of the South Indian Artists Association with a badge.
Details about the meet
Vishal addressed the media after the SIAA meeting. He said that in wake of rising sexual harassment allegations, there is a possibility of forming a panel similar to the Hema Committee in Mollywood.
He said, "The Nadigar Sangam will form a committee in the next ten days. Preparations are underway and an announcement will be made soon. It is our duty to do so. The association is not just for the men in the industry. It's also for women to know that there is someone there for them."
Nadigar Sangam to ban perpetrators of sexual offences for 5 years
On September 4, Vishal held a meeting and assured that that the Gender Sensitisation and Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC) will now look over the cases related to sexual harassment or other related offences in the industry.
In the meet, the Gender Sensitisation and Internal Committee would provide all legal help to the victims of sexual harassment in the Tamil film industry. According to the resolution, a warning would initially issued to the alleged preparators after which action will follow.
