Mahhi Vij Schools Trolls For Criticising Her For Sharing Video Of Bathing Her Ailing Father

Mahhi Vij might be away from TV but she is quite active on social media and keeps her fans updated by dropping her daily chores videos. While everyone loves her videos, her recent post about taking care of her ailing father has attracted negative comments. This didn't go down well with the actress, and she reacted strongly to trolls.

Why netizens slam Mahhi Vij? What was the video all about?

In the video Mahhi shared on Thursday, she can be seen bathing her father, cutting his nails and helping him with other daily chores. In the caption, Mahhi informed her fans that the last 10 days were "toughest". The father who is her "strongest pillar" needs her now and she would do anything to see him walking like he used to.

"These 10 days of my life have been the toughest.My father who is my pillar,does every bit of my work so that I can be comfortable.Today when he needs me I want to possibly do everything to see him walking as he use to.I feel half of healing happens when they see there kids,a nurse can not do what you can or for that matter help.i feel proud to be there for my father and hopefully in a months time he wil be as he was," she wrote.

She concluded her note by writing, "My brave father. My everything. M gonna be there. I love you papa. Emotionally mentally exhausted but positive because I can see us winning,smiling,grinning. We wil sail thru this."

Soon after she shared the post, her industry friends showered her with lover, but a section of the internet slammed her for not respecting her father's dignity. A user wrote, "isme video bnane wali koi bat nahi thi .. Sab karte ha Apne parents ke lia!!!!" Another wrote, "U don't need to put everything on Instagram if ur doing something for ur family."

A third user wrote, "Some stuff should just remain private. What about his dignity? Do u have his permission to show him at his most vulnerable? If you claim to love your father so much you wouldn’t boosting your ego but showing what a great daughter you are. I lost my dad 14 yrs ago, a proud and dignified man and there’s no way wld I have done this. Please don’t be complimenting her on what an amazing daughter she is. The price of fame!!!!!!"

Mahhi Vij slams the trolls

On reading the negative comments, Mahhi took to the comment section and revealed that it was her father's idea to post a video. "To all those, my father was the one who wanted me to post this for nerds who leave dr parents… to all those written negative comments god bless u Al may u get some positivity in everything u see," she wrote.
