Palak Sindhwani, who has been part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for 5 long years, has bid adieu to the sitcom. The actress played the role of Sonu Bhide and earned widespread praise for her performance. She has shared a series of photos on her social media handle and penned a heartfelt note expressing her emotions as she quits the show. For the unversed, Palak has been in the news owing to her ongoing legal case with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers. She opened up about facing mental harassment on the sets of the show while she tried to quit the show.

Palak Sindhwani is truly grateful for her journey at TMKOC

Taking to her Instagram, Palak shared an album comparing her time in TMKOC and her last day on the set photos. Her album starts with a photo of her getting ready for the one last time. It was followed by several throwback photos from the sets. She concluded the album with a video in which she can be seen dancing. The video is from her last day on the sets. In her lengthy note, Palak shared that she is grateful for her journey and the incredible people she worked with.

She opened her note by writing, "As I wrap up my last day on set, I reflect on the past five years filled with hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Thank you to my amazing audience for the love and support you’ve given me throughout this journey."

"I’m truly grateful for this journey and the incredible people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’ve learned so much—not just from my fellow actors, but also from everyone behind the scenes, from my hairstylist to the spot team, makeup team and everyone else. Our goodbyes were filled with tears, and I will cherish the wonderful memories we’ve created together as a team," she continued.

Asit Modi threatened Palak Sindhwani?

After experiencing “sleepless nights,” Palak shared, she texted Asit to resolve the misunderstanding about breach of contract. On September 18, she visited the producer and asked for clarification, it was then Asit who told her that every artist has a different contract. He also threatened to remove him from Instagram. "Tum itna mat uddo Instagram ke vajese se. Humare pass itni strong team hai ki hum raato raat udva sakte hai tumhara Instagram. (You don't jump because of Instagram. I have a strong team that can delete your Instagram in a night), per Pinkvilla.

She added that after a discussion with Asit, a legal notice was sent to her house on September 20, mentioning the breach of contract. It was at this point, she decided to speak the truth and sought legal help.
