Astrologer Predicts Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Will Split Over 'Another Woman', Complaint Filed

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala on Thursday morning were engaged in a traditional ceremony in Hyderabad. Chaitanya’s father and Telugu superstar Nagarjuna shared the news on his official X page. Ever since the announcement, netizens have been divided. While some congratulated the couple and wished them a future filled with happiness, a section of people have been trolling them, especially Naga Chaitanya, who got divorced only a couple of years back.

Now, an astrologer has landed in controversy for predicting the future of Chay's new relationship.

Astrologer's controversial comments on Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Dhulipala's engagement

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala kept their relationship a secret for almost two years. In fact, for many, their engagement announcement was also a surprise. Meanwhile, controversial astrologer Venu Swamy has made himself the center of criticism. Swamy released a video on his Instagram page, predicting the star couple’s future. He predicted that Chay and Sobhita’s relationship will end in 2027 due to another woman.

In an effort to put an end to controversy, Swamy released yet another video and clarified that he predicted Chay-Sobhita’s future only as an extension of his prediction on Chay-Samantha’s future. “I had vowed to never predict film stars and politicians’ futures, and I will stick to my word. MAA President Manchu Vishnu has spoken to me, and I assured him that I will never predict film stars’ future,” said Swamy in a now-viral clip.

Complaint filed against Venu Swamy

Meanwhile, according to 123 Telugu, the Telugu Film Journalist Association (TFJA) has filed a police complaint against Venu Swamy for his insensitive video on Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala.

Chaitanya, 37, and Sobhita, 32, were rumoured to have been dating since 2022 after they were spotted on a vacation in Europe. Chay was previously married to actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu from 2017 to 2021.
