Hi Nanna OTT release: Nani-Mrunal Thakur's romantic drama to mark its digital debut

Hi Nanna starring Nani has been winning hearts since its theatrical release on December 7. Directed by debutant filmmaker Shouryuv, the romantic drama has been lauded for its touching storyline and captivating performances. Now, gearing up for its digital premiere, the film is all set to reach a wider audience through Netflix.

Nani to release on OTT

In a strategic move, the creators of Hi Nanna have sealed a pact with the streaming giant Netflix for its digital rights. The pre-release business, amounting to approximately ₹27 crore in non-theatrical sales. The exclusive partnership with Netflix ensures that Nani's fans and movie enthusiasts worldwide can live the emotional journey portrayed in Hi Nanna. The movie will be premiere on OTT on January, as per media reports.

Nani to team up with Jigarthanda Double X director Karthik Subbaraj

As per a 123Telugu report, Nani is considering collaborating with Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj. Reports suggest that the Jigarthanda Double X director has met with the Hi Nanna actor a few days back to narrate a fresh script to him. Nani has taken a liking to the same and is reportedly strongly mulling over coming on board for the film. This news however, has not been confirmed by an official source yet.

Nani is currently basking in the success of his latest theatrical release Hi Nanna. The film, which also stars Mrunal Thakur, has thus far collected ₹36.03 crores at the India box office. Its total worldwide collections are currently standing at ₹57.15 crores. Kartik Subbaraj on the other hand recently saw through the release of Jigarthanda Double X which has raked in ₹44.33 crores domestically, with its worldwide collections standing at ₹64.55 crores.

Separately, Nani has had a busy 2023, having seen through the release of two big projects - Dasara which featured hi opposite Keerthy Suresh, and the very recent Hi Nanna. The actor is also currently shooting for his next release Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.
