Kalki 2898 AD Director Nag Ashwin Confirms Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan's Cameo In Film

Kalki 2898 AD is one of the highly anticipated films of this year. The movie will release in theatres on June 27. Recently, during a live interaction on social media, Nag Ashwin confirmed the inclusion of two of the most prominent actors in the South film industry.

During a live session on Instagram, Nag Ashwin confirmed that Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda are a part of Kalki 2898 AD. According to a report by Gulte, Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda are all set to make special appearances in Kalki 2898 AD. It is to be noted that the rumours of Vijay doing a cameo in the Prabhas-Deepika starrer action spectacle are not new.

Dulquer's name has also been unofficially attached to the project for sometime now. However, according to latest reports, the two South stars will soon begin filming for their respective portions in the movie.

Kalki 2898 AD trailer introduces new characters

On Friday night, a new trailer of the film was unveiled. The trailer begins with Amitabh Bachchan's character, Ashwathama, talking to Deepika Padukone's character, saying, "They say the whole universe resides within God. But God himself resides in your womb." More characters were introduced in the second trailer.

It sets the stage for one of the biggest world building movies to come out of Indian cinema. With all eyes on Nag Ashwin's vision, it will be interesting to witness how the sci-fi and mythological universes have blended.

Set in the year 2898 AD and inspired by Hindu scriptures, Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The cast also includes Disha Patani.
