Update at 12:15 pm: The details of the fire incident are as follows:

  • Fire Level – MFB declared Level – 3 fire at 1136 hrs
  • Detail: Fire in Slum at Lalmati, Opp- Bandra Fire Station, Nagardas Road, Bandra (W).
  • Agencies mobilized – MFB, Ward Staff, 108 Ambulance, Adnani Energy, Police
  • Updates : 8 water tankers, 9 Fire Engines, DFO, ADFO & other staff are on the site. 
  • Casualty : Not reported. 

A Level-3 fire broke out in a slum at Lalmati, opposite Bandra Fire Station on Nagardas Road in Mumbai on Tuesday. Nine fire tenders were rushed to the spot, with people in that area also trying to douse the fire. The fire had reportedly broken out close to Bandra reclamation, underneath a flyover. A team of firefighters have been trying to douse it from above.

While this is an updating story and details of the accident is yet to be known, many people on social media have already shared it, and asked people to avoid taking that road for safety.
