WATCH | Ghaziabad Roadways Bus Falls From Delhi-Meerut Expressway, 20 Passengers Injured

A roadways bus fell from the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (DME) on Thursday in Ghaziabad injuring several passengers. As per reports, the bus with 24 passengers onboard broke the railing and fell into the ditch near Dasna.

The accident occurred on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway at noon, whereby 18 to 20 passengers were reported seriously injured. All the injured have been admitted to different hospitals and are undergoing treatment. However, there is no information on any casualties. Police and health department teams have reached the spot.

The CCTV footage of the accident has been accessed, in which the moment when the bus fell into a drain has been captured. In the video, the speeding bus can be seen getting out of control, breaking the barricade on the expressway and falling into a pit.
