27-yr-old man commits suicide after killing wife, 2 children

A 27-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and two children and then hanged himself after scribbling a message on the wall of his home, suggesting that she was having an affair, police said on Friday. Rajesh was found hanging at his home in Sanjay Colony Arthla in the Sahibabad police station limits by a neighbour on Friday morning, Superintendent of Police Maneesh Mishra said.

The bodies of Kajal (25), Ekta (4) and Dhuruv (2) were found lying on a bed, he added. A message in Hindi blaming his wife was scribbled on the wall. Rajesh named a man, saying he "loved Kajal very much". "Kajal used to talk with other men on the phone," he wrote, and added that he tried to dissuade her from doing so.

Rajesh also wrote that Kajal used to consume alcohol, and scribbled three phone numbers on the wall. Prima facie, it seems that Rajesh strangled his wife, daughter and son and then committed suicide, the SP said, adding that the exact causes of their death would be ascertained after an autopsy.
