Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the Signature Bridge, built on the Yamuna River in New Delhi, on Sunday. However, things took a controversial turn when BJP Delhi chief Manoj Tiwari went to attend the inauguration ceremony and his supporters and AAP-cadre got involved in a scuffle in the presence of the police.

In the video, BJP and AAP workers are seen scuffling amid the police who were trying to control the situation, and Manoj Tiwari is trying to make his way out of the fracas:

Following the brawl at the inauguration site, BJP leader Manoj Tiwari stated that he was invited to attend the inauguration event, questioning the misbehaviour of the AAP workers and the police.

Later, speaking to news agency ANI, the Delhi BJP MP revealed that while it was him who re-initiated the construction of the Signature bridge in his constituency (North East Delhi), now, the AAP and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal were organizing the inauguration ceremony.

Soon after the mayhem during the inauguration, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal took the charge to blame BJP for the ‘unprecedented chaos’ as he posted a tweet on social media:
