Delhi boy allegedly kills 17-year-old for beating him up

The police said that the teen had beaten up the accused two days before the incident and that the shooting was an act of revenge

A 17-year-old was allegedly shot dead by another boy in outer Delhi on Thursday, the police said Friday.

The police said that the teen had beaten up the accused two days before the incident and that the shooting was an act of revenge. The accused also told the police that the teen used to bully him and beat him up.

The accused, along with his aide, shot the teen with a country-made pistol on Thursday night at around 11:30 PM, the police said. The boy was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.

A country-made pistol with one empty cartridge was recovered from the accused, the police said. He has been arrested.

In a second incident, a 42-year-old property dealer was shot dead on Thursday evening over a financial dispute, the police said.

Earlier on December 04, 2018, three persons including a disc jockey (DJ) was arrested in Delhi for firing at two people after a fight broke out over song selection and requests to play a song repeatedly, police said on Monday. According to the police, the incident occurred around 10.24 pm at a family function in west Delhi's Palam Village.

Shanky Bhardwaj (23) and his cousin brother Tushar Bhardwaj (16) insisted Akshay, the DJ, to play the song 'Tamanche Pe Disco...' repeatedly, which led to a fight between them, a police officer said.

"When the police team reached the spot, they found the cousin brothers Shanky and Tushar lying in a pool of blood on the floor. They were taken to a hospital in Dwarka where they are undergoing treatment and their condition is out of danger as declared by the doctors,"Deputy Commissioner of Police Devender Arya said.

The accused persons were identified as DJ Akshay (19), his employers Sanjay Sharma (29) and his brother Ashish Sharma (23). They were arrested on Monday from their hideouts in west Delhi in separate police raids informed Joint Commissioner of Police (New Delhi range) Ajay Choudhary said.
