In a similar vein, Bedi had warmly welcomed Sadhguru's 'Cauvery Calling' rally when it reached Puducherry on September 15, marking the thirteenth day of the initiative. It took the riders a fortnight-long journey to reach Puducherry. Sadhguru had thanked Dr. Bedi for giving a warm welcome to his entire entourage and for sharing their energy. Bedi and Sadhguru had also tweeted about the same. The initiative involves a humongous effort to plant trees on the Cauvery basin in an effort to replenish the river.
