In an annual Dussehra rally of Shiv Sena, party supremo Uddhav Thackeray had announced that he will go to Ayodhya on November 25 and dared the BJP to either construct a Ram Temple or they will do it themselves. It seems Uddhav Thackeray's scathing attack on BJP has given an opportunity to opposition parties to target Sena over their hypocrisy on several issues.

A day after Shiv Sena chief’s rally at Shivaji Park, Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has put up posters and banners at many places, especially in front of the Sena Bhavan, which is the headquarters of the Shiv Sena, targetting Uddhav Thackeray's party.

In these posters, MNS has asked specific questions to Shiv Sena. The posters read, our best wishes for your Ayodhya tour but whether the streets of Maharashtra will be potholes free? Will inflation be come down? Whether women of the state will be safe? Whether unemployed youth will get jobs? Whether farmers will stop committing suicide? Whether farmers will get MSP? Whether it will end the drought? Whether it will finish corruption from the municipal corporation? AND whether the resignation letters which are in your pocket will come out? at the end of the poster, they wrote, JAI SHREE RAM.

"Maharashtra Navnirman Sena knows that all the issues which they have mentioned in their posters are burning issues and voters are very unhappy with the government. Being in the government, it is Shiv Sena’s responsibility as well to work for the people. But instead of fulfilling their promises which they had made during the election campaign, Sena has been continuously blaming the BJP for all the problems which citizens are facing. Principally, as a Government, Both BJP and Shiv Sena are jointly responsible for every good and bad thing," said MNS Secretary and spokesperson Sandip Deshpande

Raj Thackeray's core vote bank is Marathi Manoos. Raj Thackeray is fully aware that if he has to break the traditional Marathi vote bank of Sena then he must raise these basic issues which have been affecting lives of lakhs of people. Though Shiv Sena is not ready to react on the MNS’ posters but they have surely taken cognizance of these posters as it was put up in front of their party headquarter. Nevertheless, this Poster war over Ram Mandir has definitely set the tone for upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
