Amidst the heavy rains in the city of Mumbai, New Cuffe Parade witnessed a waterfall gushing through the cement and the bricks in an astonishing video on Wednesday. This video was shared on twitter by K Sudarshan. Initially coming off as probable damage done by the incessant rain, it was found out to be something else. The Lodha New Cuffe Parade team notified that the incident occurred as a result of testing of a new water tank.
The incident occurred as a result of a new vendor testing the water tank. The tank was being tested at the building T5 (Dioro). It was reported that the tank had sustained a rupture in the body. As a result of the rupture, water came gushing out.

IMD also predicted heavy rainfall in the city and the nearby areas.
