Nervously awaiting ICSE Class 10 results, Priyanka Chaturvedi has a congratulatory message for CBSE students whose results were declared today

As the Central Board of Secondary education declared Class 10 result on May 6, Monday, newly inducted Shiv Sena member and former Congress leader Priyanka Chaturvedi took to Twitter to express her nervousness on the ICSE board result that is scheduled on May 7.

As the Central Board of Secondary education declared Class 10 result on May 6, Monday, newly inducted Shiv Sena member and former Congress leader Priyanka Chaturvedi took to Twitter to express her nervousness on the ICSE board result that is scheduled on May 7. She also posted a message for all those who appeared in CBSE examination. 

Taking to Twitter, she said that she is nervous for the ICSE 10th result as her son has given the exam this year. She also said to the CBSE students that 'marks don't determine their knowledge' and congratulated them. She added that students are shapers of their own destiny.

This year, Smriti Irani's son too appeared in Class 12th examination and her daughter in Class 10th examination. She too expressed her pride after seeing the success of her children.

National Conference chief Omar Abdullah took to Twitter to congratulate her nephew to who passed Class 10 with flying colours.

Class 10 exams were conducted from February 2 to March 29, while Class 12 board exams were held from February 15 to 4 April. This year, over 27 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 10 CBSE exams.

The overall pass percentage is 91.1%, which is an increase from last year's 86.4%. 13 students scored 499 out of 500 marks, 25 students scored 498 out of 500 marks, 58 students have scored 497 out of 500 marks.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also congratulated the students on their performance.
