Rahul Gandhi has continued to politicise India's fight against terror. After China blocked India and other members of the UNSC from making Masood Azhar a designated terrorist, Rahul Gandhi has taken the opportunity to attack PM Narendra Modi.
Gandhi tweeted on Thursday calling PM Modi 'weak' and saying that he is scared the Chinese President to act against the country.
"Weak Modi is scared of Xi. Not a word comes out of his mouth when China acts against India.
NoMo’s China Diplomacy:
1. Swing with Xi in Gujarat
2. Hug Xi in Delhi
3. Bow to Xi in China"
Congress president has continued with his former stand of standing in unity against terrorism.
On Wednesday, yet again Rahul Gandhi was caught trivialising the issue of terror. During a speech he referred to Masood Azhar as a criminal and not a terrorist.
"The architect of the Pulwama attack is the man who planted the bomb. The architect is a man called Masood Azhar, released by the BJP - sent to Pakistan and sent to Kandahar by the BJP. National Security Advisor was involved in that deal. So the BJP needs to explain exactly why they sent that criminal back."
This is just two days after Gandhi called Masood Azhar as Masood Azharji.
In New Delhi on Monday, Rahul Gandhi had triggered a controversy by using the honorific 'Ji' for Masood Azhar:
"40 CRPF soldiers lost their lives. Who was responsible for the bombing? Listen, it was Jaish-e-Mohammad. Masood Azhar. Do you remember? Now, the one who has 56-inch chest, do you remember that during his previous government, the Security Advisor Ajit Doval sat with Masood Azhar Ji in an aircraft and handed him over to Kandahar", Rahul Gandhi said.
