Compound wall broken, exams postponed ahead of Thackeray's rally
Ahead of the public meeting organised by the district unit of Shiv Sena, the Zilla Parishad school of Osmanabad also postponed their first-term Chemistry exam

The Zilla Parishad school of Osmanabad seemingly postponed their first-term Chemistry examination on Friday because of the public meeting organised by the district unit of Shiv Sena. This meeting was organised for party chief Uddhav Thackeray. The PTI sources stated that the compound wall of the school was also broken down for Thackeray's rally, which was held on the ZP Girls High School ground. The Zilla Parishad’s CEO Sanjay Kolte said that the organisers should strictly adhere to the model code of conduct in force for the October 21 assembly elections and not damage any compound wall or school building. The headmaster of Zilla Parishad High School (Boys), DR Sarar, also admitted that the question paper was rescheduled to October 18.
Uddhav Thackeray’s address at Osmanabad rally
The Shiv Sena chief, Uddhav Thackeray, while addressing the aforementioned rally in Osmanabad, said that the party had fulfilled promises made to farmers and youth in the last five years. Making new promises he said that 7/12 land extracts of farmers would be made debt-free by the Sena if voted to power again. The recently released manifesto of Shiv Sena had electricity rates, nutritionists meal, transport for school/college students, farmers issues and Fasal Bima Yojna on priority. Also, Uddhav Thackeray attacked NCP President Sharad Pawar and the Congress in his speech.

"The Sena does not indulge in the politics of revenge. However, the probe against leaders of Congress and NCP is on for the wrongs committed by them when in power," he said. Adding to this Uddhav Thackeray also recalled that the NCP leader Ajit Pawar, earlier, made remarks on Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray, saying that he was arrested due to the stubbornness of some leaders in his party.

Confident of winning the elections
In an older rally, asserting confidence in the victory of Shiv Sena and BJP’s alliance, Uddhav Thackeray said that the outcome of the election will be in their favour. The Shiv Sena chief said, "You can imagine the predicament of a batsman who has to score lots of runs in very few balls. But I have no such tension. My score is decided, and the target fixed. I have already won the match."
