Newly elected Congress President Rahul Gandhi has pointed out the Bharatiya Janata Party for creating an environment of fear and divide among the people.
In an interview with the National Herald, Rahul Gandhi, a day before the results of the Gujarat elections came out told that the Congress party should create a bridge and must be the people’s voice and hope.
Rahul Gandhi commented on the recently concluded Gujarat elections where he said the Congress Party has managed to bring all the communities together for the elections and has blamed the BJP for playing caste politics.
“People from different class are with us, Alpesh, Jignesh, Hardik. BJP from the beginning has been talking about OBC quota. It is weird, they are the ones talking about it, they are the ones dividing, but they blame us,” said Rahul Gandhi.
“Jignesh is a Dalit, Alpesh is an OBC and Hardik is a Patel. All of them have come together on the Congress platform. How can you accuse us of being casteist? They are all standing in our platform,” added the 47-year-old leader.
