In the election campaigning season weeks ahead of the much-awaited Lok Sabha polls, all the political parties are taking potshots at each other through various mediums. Right from their speeches during rallies to messages on social media, the fight is on to usurp one another.

On Wednesday morning, the Congress decided to indulge in a banter with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Twitter, but it ended up providing armor to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to take a dig at the grand old party.

Congress had tweeted an image of BJP's website being down. In It's message, the party offered to help their political rivals in a sarcastic manner.

"Morning @BJP4India, we realise you’ve been down for a long time now. If you need help getting back up, we’re happy to help," the message read.

Instead of a BJP response, it was the AAP which came into the picture and took a sharp dig at the Congress party keeping in mind the recent developments.

"Just like what you did in Delhi! This election wherever BJP is down, congress will help it to get back up. As we said #CongressHelpingBJP," their Twitter post read.
