Lok Sabha Elections 2019: NDA announces seat-sharing in Bihar, here's where BJP, JDU and LJP will contest from

After burning the midnight lamp until wee hours on Sunday in a meeting headed by PM Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah to strategise, short-list candidates and the seat-sharing in the race up to the Lok Sabha elections, the NDA alliance in Bihar have announced their seat-sharing in the state.

After burning the midnight lamp until wee hours on Sunday in a meeting headed by PM Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah to strategise, short-list candidates and the seat-sharing in the race up to the Lok Sabha elections, the NDA alliance in Bihar have announced their seat-sharing in the state. 

The NDA alliance in Bihar consists of BJP, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's JDU and Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party. The alliance in Bihar of BJP and JDU will be contesting on 17 seats each, meanwhile, LJP will be contesting on six seats.

Lok Janshakti Party to contest on Lok Sabha Constituencies of

JD(U) to contest on LS constituencies of 

  • Valmiki nagar, 
  • Sitamarhi, 
  • Jhanjharpur,

  • Kishanganj, 
  • Supaul, 
  • Katihar, 
  • Munger,  
  • Jehanabad,

Republic TV's and CVoter's National Approval Ratings for Bihar for the month of March showed that out of 40 seats, the NDA alliance is expected to win 36 seats. While the UPA is likely to get only 4 seats.

In terms of vote share, NDA is likely to receive 49.4% whereas the UPA is likely to 37.1%, and others are likely to receive 13.6%.

The Election Commission (EC) on Sunday announced the polling dates for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, with vote-counting scheduled to be held on May 23.
