Republic TV, in association with CVoter, has come up with another edition of the National Approval Ratings, though, this time around, the mood of the nation is being examined when it comes to their views on the present India.

The survey, conducted between February 1 and March 7, intended to find out whether the people of this country are happy with the way India and their lives are moving forward. And well, it seems like a big thumbs up for the Modi government.

Initially, at the start of the survey, 59.4 percent of the people from the survey felt that there is progress, both in India and in their lives. Only 12.3 percent felt that country is moving forward but not their lives, while a mere 4.4 percent mentioned their lives are improving, but country is in a poor stage. Finally, close to 20 percent of the voters of this survey felt both India and their lives are in a poor state.

  • Country is moving forward and my life too: 59.4%
  • Country is moving forward, not my life: 12.3%
  • My life is moving forward, not country: 4.4%
  • Both country and my life not moving forward: 19.6%
  • Can't say: 4.3%

If these figures were enough to suggest that the people of India are content with the present establishment, the survey figures on March 7 indicates nation would be happy with the way things are going.

From an already impressive 59.4%, people voted 68.8% for the fact that both country and their lives were progressing. The percentage of votes for the fact India is moving forward but not their lives was all but the same - 0.1 increase - while there was 0.5 decrease in the narrative that lives are improving but the country is in poor stage. There was a drastic decrease in the votes of those who felt both India and their lives are in a poor stage.

  • Country is moving forward and my life too: 68.8%
  • Country is moving forward, not my life: 12.2%
  • My life is moving forward, not country: 3.9%
  • Both country and my life not moving forward: 11.8%
  • Can't say: 3%
