Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his election rally on Tuesday in Kurukshetra, Haryana has slammed the Congress for obstructing India’s progress. He said that Congress gets sad when the people of India get happy over the developments happening in the country. He further slammed the opposition party for always being negative when the world heaps glory to India.
“I don’t understand what happens to Congress leaders that whatever makes the country and the people happy, Congress leaders get really sad on those matters. And it is not just limited to Rafale. Congress’ attitude is always negative when India is respected. Congress has problems when India is applauded for its successful ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan’. Congress leaders lose their sleep when the world leaders respect our country and come to India to participate in our events and programs. Congress is even opposing the article 370 so much that the terror masters are targeting India based on their statements," PM Modi said.
PM Modi opined while stressing on the importance of national security, “Politics is just another thing, elections come and go, defeat or victory happens, but country lives forever. National security should always be of prime importance.”
Speaking on the article 370 and the plight of the Indian soldiers and civilians losing their lives to terrorist activities, PM Modi strongly argued and raised some serious questions, “For how long the country should suffer the terrorism and separatism in Jammu and Kashmir? For how long the brave mothers should lose their sons to such terrorist activities. For how long our brave soldiers should martyr in terrorist activities.”
Attacking Congress further, PM Modi asked, “When a Kashmiri mother pleads on TV for her son to come back, the son who has been brainwashed to become a terrorist, I want to ask the Congress whether that mother should get her son back or not?”
