Congress MP from Karnataka, BK Hariprasad has stoke a massive controversy by claiming that the Pulwama terror attack - in which 40 CRPF jawans were martyred - was a 'fixed match' between PM Narendra Modi and Pakistan.
A convoy carrying CRPF jawans from Jammu to Srinagar on February was struck with an IED blast. The responsibility behind the attack was claimed by Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Despite evidences which prove JeM was behind it, and Pakistan shielding the terror outfit, the Congress MP has made a distasteful remark claiming terror attack in Pulwama took place with PM Modi and his Pakistani counterpart working hand in hand.
"Ravi Shankar Prasad should clarify whether there was any match fixing between Pakistan and Narendra Modi. Or else, without their knowledge, this Pulwama instance would not have taken place. If you look at the chain of events that have taken place after Pulwama, it looks like Narendra Modi had a match fixing with Pakistan people," he told ANI.
The politics over the Pulwama terror attack began days after the incident, with Congress working president in Delhi, Haroon Yusuf questioning as to how the government couldn't trace the explosives.
If this was not enough, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on March 5 termed the ghastly terror attack in J&K as an accident while demanding answers from the Modi government.
Such remarks were and are being passed despite repeated requests by the government and PM Modi to not politicize the Pulwama terror attack.
