Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, on Tuesday, responding to every 'question' or 'allegation' raised against the Indian Armed forces in the wake of the February 26 IAF air strike on the Jaish terrorists in Balakot, Pakistan, which was carried out by the forces in response to the February 14 Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred.

Speaking at a rally in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar district, PM Modi listed down incidents during which the Congress shed tears on the killings of terrorists and times when leaders of the Rahul Gandhi-led party extended helping hand to the terrorists and questioned the Indian Armed forces.

Addressing the rally, PM Modi called out senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh for brazenly terming the Pulwama terror attack as an 'accident'.

"Party which ruled our country for decades is now questioning abilities of our brave forces, especially a leader from Madhya Pradesh. Today he said Pulwama terror attack is an 'accident'. This is their mentality. This is in their blood. In order to save the terrorists, and be on their sides, now they are terming an attack perpetrated by the terrorists as an accident," PM Modi said.

He goes on to hit out the Congress party for giving a clean chit to Pakistan during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

"This is the same advisor of the Naamdaar family (Gandhi family) who is seeing messengers of peace in the perpetrators of terrorism. He is the same person who saw Osama Bin Laden was, the biggest terrorist in the world, a messenger of peace. He is the same man who gave Pakistan a clean chit during 26/11 Mumbai attack and had tried to divert the investigations in the matter," he said.

Further, raising September 13, 2008, terrorist encounter at the Batla House in Delhi which a series of five bomb blasts had killed over 30 people, PM Modi exposed Congress party for shedding tears over the killing of the terrorists involved in the attack.

"During the terrorist encounter at the Batla House in Delhi, then another such courtier had told the world that people who run the government with remote control were not able to control their tears on the death of the terrorists. Who were the people whose tears were not stopping on the deaths of terrorists? Can we expect the Congress to curb terrorism from the country with this attitude? They are questioning the surgical strike and air strike. Now when we carry on strikes on sleeper cells of the terrorists, they (Congress) used to keep mum during the attacks," he added.

Thrashing the Congress party for demanding 'proofs' from the armed forces for their actions, PM Modi said, "when the country is fighting a decisive battle against terrorism, they want to mislead the country and weaken the fight. When the valour of our forces is being accepted by the entire world, they are asking for proofs from the forces and trying to break their strength. They are trying to weaken the condition of the country by putting multiple questions against the forces".
