The election season, one of the most important events in the country, kicked off on Thursday with the first phase being held in 20 states across the nation. Telangana too was one of them, and the major Tollywood stars were seen arriving at the voting booths to cast their votes.
‘RRR’ star Jr NTR was snapped standing in the queue waiting for his turn to cast his vote.
The actor took to social media to proudly show his inked finger and captioned the post,“We got inked! Did you? #GoandVote.”
His co-star of the SS Rajamouli movie, Ram Charan, arrived with father, veteran superstar-politician Chiranjeevi and their better halves to exercise their right to vote.
Ram Charan wrote on Facebook, “Go vote!! It is important!!#LokSabhaElections2019 #APElections2019."
Allu Arjun too was spotted waiting before casting his vote. Later, he took to Instagram to share his inked finger with the background of the Voter’s Pledge and wrote, “Today is that 1 day which will decide how the next 1825 days should be. Pls cast your vote."

Polling is being held in 91 out of 543 Lok Sabha constituencies spread over 20 states and Union Territories in the first phase on Thursday. The remaining six phases are spread out till May 19, before the results on May 23.
