Aamir Khan sends his best wishes to Team India as the World Cup 2019 begins in earnest with Kohli and co. facing South Africa

With the nation celebrating Eid and with the World Cup fever setting in, Bollywood star Aamir Khan has put out a heartfelt tweet wishing the Indian Cricket team all the best as they set out to play their first match against South Africa.

The 2019 World Cup which is taking place in England and Wales started on May 30 with the hosts winning against South Africa at the Oval. Now, with the tournament entering its second week, its time for India’s first match. Aamir Khan isn't the only one to have wished Virat Kohli and team. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif also showed their support to the world cup teams by making an appearance on a match preview show ahead of the Sri Lanka versus Afghanistan encounter on June 4 during which they also promoted their film 'Bharat' which released on Wednesday.

Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted wishing Virat and Team India prior to their opening match, also appealing for support to the Indian Football team which is playing in the King's Cup simultaneously.
