Republic TV has accessed crucial details of NIA probe in the attack on the CRPF forces in Pulwama by Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The vehicle which was used for the attack beyond recognition.

Sources have said that the NIA has found the model of the car used in the attack. The sources have said that the agency has understood that the car used was a red coloured Maruti Echo. The axle of the car has been recovered.

Now investigation agencies may seek help from manufacturer for more information of the make and model of car used for the attack.

The car was filled with RDX and chemical 90. Chemical 90 is used in mining operations to blast rocks in quarries.

Sources have also said that two Fidayeen Jaish-e-Mohammed militants are still hiding in south Kashmir areas but mostly in Pulwama.

The agencies are also looking into the aspect of high terror incidents in Jammu-Srinagar National highway from Pampore-Awantipura stretch of road. Sources added that the agencies will check the call traffic across the border to ascertain more details into the attack.

Following the attack on February 14, the traders' association have given a bandh call to protest the terror incident.

Sources have said that many underground JeM leaders have been detained by agencies.

Nearly 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in a major terror attack carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammad in south Kashmir’s Awantipora area Thursday.

The suicide bomber, who was identified as a local militant, rammed an explosive-laden car into the CRPF bus which was going from Jammu to Srinagar as part of a 70-vehicle-strong convoy. Security personnel are probing the incident.

On Friday, PM Modi assured the country that he had given the forces a free hand to respond to the terror attack, and gave Pakistan an unsparing warning that its designs would not be allowed to succeed. With the government resolving to isolate Pakistan in the international community, the Prime Minister highlighted how Pakistan's path had led it to financial doom:

"Our neighbouring country is forgetting that this is new India, terrorist organisations and their masters will get it back. Our neighbouring country is going through a grave financial crisis, their situation is so bad that big countries are distancing from them. It has become difficult for them to run their daily expenses and is roaming around with a begging bowl."
