Agra: NSUI Prez donates money for constuction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya

After the historic verdict of Supreme court on the Ayodhya Land Dispute,  The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) District President, Vilal Ahmed, handed over a cheque of Rs 1,100 to the District Magistrate of Agra for laying at least 4 bricks whenever the construction of Ram Temple begins at Ayodhya. Speaking to ANI, Ahmed said, 

"People of the country have wholeheartedly accepted the Supreme Court's verdict. We have handed over a cheque of Rs 1,100 to the District Magistrate, it is our heartfelt desire that 4 bricks should be laid in our names when the construction of the temple begins"

The Supreme Court on Saturday directed the Central government to hand over the disputed site at Ayodhya for the construction of a temple and set up a trust for the same.

Supreme Court's verdict on Ayodhya dispute

The Supreme Court on Saturday ruled that Government hand over the disputed site at Ayodhya for the construction of a temple and set up a trust for the same. The Court gave the Central Government three months to set up a committee to construct a temple on the land. The Supreme Court further directed the government to give a suitable plot of land of Five acres to the Sunni Waqf Board for the construction of a mosque. 

"Central government shall form in three to four months a scheme for setting up of a trust. They shall make necessary arrangements for the management of trust and construction of the temple," Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said while reading out the verdict. In its order, the Supreme Court also asked the Central or State government to provide an alternate land of 5 acres to the Muslims for the construction of a mosque
