Days ahead of assembly polls in the state of Haryana and Maharashtra, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, on Friday, has exposed the unfulfilled promises of the Congress-led-government in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Speaking to Republic TV, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national Information & Technology in-charge, Amit Malviya said that the Congress as always have made false and empty promises for their own benefits. He also mentioned that the farmers are the ones who will be suffering due to these empty promises.
Speaking to Republic TV Amit Malviya said, "This is not the first time that the Congress went to force with such type of promise and did not fulfill it. It did so in Punjab, Karnataka, and now in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. It is kind of their trend to lie and to say things that they can never achieve, eventually, when you use people to get yourself into power you and later completely forget your promises. You have five years of power throughout the state you milk it up and make money for yourself and your party. That's how the Congress party has been working on now for the last 70 years that they have been in power."
Talking about the hardship faced by farmers he said, "It is very unfortunate that none other than Rahul Gandhi, who was then the president of the Congress party made these promises and still the Congress does not find it appropriate to keep his word. Obviously the party does not think too highly of him and his words are not meant to be taken seriously, but anyway, the farmer of the state is the losers. Unfortunately, the poor farmers expected that they would get something that is completely out of the world."

Earlier today Scindia also said that the Congress party has been lacking in providing the healthcare facilities in each district of Madhya Pradesh. Scindia's comment comes at a moment when the grand old party is facing internal clashes. Scindia too had been in loggerheads with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath and had earlier threatened to quit the party.
Scindia, while addressing party workers said: "The second thing is that the loan waiver has not been provided. Only 50,000 of the 2 lakh rupees promised as a loan waiver have been provided. The loan waiver should be given to the farmers. We had promised it."
In the poll-bound state of Haryana, Congress chief Kumari Selja has announced that the Grand Old Party will implement a loan waiver if voted to power. Speaking to news agency PTI, Kumari Selja stated that the Congress party will fulfill the loan waiver promise as mentioned in its manifesto for the Haryana assembly polls. She went on to assert that the party will waive off the loans who are suffering under the BJP government. She also added that loan waivers' were followed in under Congress government in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
