Amit Shah mourns Ram Jethmalani's death, offers condolences to family

Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday tweeted about the sad demise of eminent lawyer Ram Jethmalani. He said grieved the loss of Ram Jethmalani who died on Sunday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday tweeted about the sad demise of eminent lawyer Ram Jethmalani. He said grieved the loss of Ram Jethmalani and said that India had lost not only a distinguished lawyer but also a great human being. He called Jethmalani's demise an 'irreparable loss' to the legal community. He expressed his condolences to Jethmalani's family over the lawyer's passing.

Ram Jethmalani passes away on September 8

Ram Jethmalani, former Union Minister and senior advocate of Supreme Court of India and an eminent professor of law passed away on Sunday, September 8. He was 95-years-old. Ram Jethmalani breathed his last at 7.45 am at his official residence in New Delhi, his son Mahesh Jethmalani informed. His son also informed that Ram Jethmalani's last rites will be performed in the evening at the Lodhi road crematorium.

A glimpse at Ram Jethmalani's career

Ram Jethmalani was a former Union Minister and senior advocate of Supreme Court of India and an eminent professor of law passed. September 8 at the age of 95. Ram Jethmalani breathed his last at 7.45 am at his official residence in New Delhi, his son Mahesh Jethmalani informed. His son also informed that Ram Jethmalani's last rites will be performed in the evening at the Lodhi road crematorium.

Ram Jethmalani's education and early career

Ram Jethmalani obtained a law degree at an early age of 17. He started practising law in Karachi until the partition of India. After partition, he moved to the then Bombay province. He began his life afresh in Bombay with his family after moving there.
