The Indian Air Force pilot had fallen into Pakistan's clutches after his MIG-21 Bison shot and brought down a Pak F-16 as the Indian Air Force sent a 24-strong Pakistan Air Force jet-fighter formation packing, foiling the belligerent nation's attempt to attack India in retribution for the precision strike India had conducted on Pakistan's terror factories along the LoC on Tuesday morning.

While the country is cheering the hero, Amul too celebrated his homecoming with a heartwarming doodle. The brand showed Abhinandan in his signature moustache being welcomed by the Amul Girl, who is seen with a puja thaali in hand, with a tagline, “Aa bhi jao humare pass…(Just come back to us now)”. The cartoon was published before Abhinandan crossed the line at 9.20 PM on Friday.

On February 28, Amul also paid a tribute to all the IAF Pilots who successfully destroyed the terror camps in Pakistan.

While announcing the decision to release Wing Commander, Pak PM Imran Khan had attempted to paint a 'good gesture' narrative despite the truth being that he had been left with no option because of the relentless and inexorable pressure screw India had applied on Pakistan across multiple dimensions, demanding the release of its heroic pilot.

The Indian government put enormous pressure on Pakistan for his release, and found support from a number of countries.

A dossier was also sent by the Indian government in this regard to Pakistan, in which an ultimatum was given to Imran Khan's government demanding 'safe and immediate' return of the Indian Air Force pilot.

In the recent turn of events, while Imran Khan's government reiterates of wanting 'peace' and 'de-escalation', concurrently the Pakistan Army has taken a rather cowardly, deceitful stand by shelling Indian civilians along the Line of Control, including a baby and a toddler.

The police officials have confirmed the deaths of three villagers by the Pakistan firing in Salotri village of Jhalas area in which a woman and her two children have lost their lives.

Following the release of IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan from the Pakistan custody as a token of a 'peace gesture' by Imran Khan's government, the Army fired a shell that exploded inside their house.
