ANOTHER PAK ATTEMPT: Day After Its F-16 Jet Was Shot Down By IAF, Pakistan Attempts Fresh Intrusion Into Indian Airspace. Details Here

A day after its F-16 jet was shot down for trying to violate India's airspace, Pakistan made another attempt at intrusion on Thursday morning.

The attempt to violate India's airspace took place in Jammu and Kashmir's Krishna-Ghati sector. A visual has been accessed of the Pakistani jet retreating back into Pakistani airspace, leaving behind a long jetstream.

There had been ceasefire violations by Pakistan in the same sector.

On Wednesday, the Indian Air Force had repulsed Pakistan's F-16s which had entered India's airspace attempting to attack India's military installations. India's MIG-21s shot down a Pakistani F-16 as they scarpered back into Pakistan's airspace.

Update at 13:18 - Minutes after the attempted intrusion, by Pakistan violated the ceasefire once again along the LoC in the Krishna Ghati sector. Here's the official communique:

Cease Fire Violation by Pak along LoC in Krishna Ghati Sector (J&K). 
28 Feb 2019 at about 1300 hours, Pak again initiated Unprovoked Cease Fire Violation by Shelling with Mortars & Firing of Small Arms along LoC in Krishna Ghati Sector (J&K). Indian Army retaliated strongly & effectively.

Update at 13:22 - The tri-services - Army, Navy and Air Force - will conduct a joint briefing at 5 pm.

Update at 13:24 - As per inputs, three Pak aircraft intruded India's airspace.
