Anurag Thakur wears 'NaMo again' hoodie to Parliament; Here's how PM Modi reacted

Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) MP and chief whip Anurag Thakur surprised everyone around, including Twitterati on Tuesday, when he was seen wearing a 'NaMo Again' hoodie on his way to the Parliament.

Following his stunning fashion statement, PM Narendra Modi, who is fondly called as 'NaMo', acknowledged his party leader's attire. Taking to Twitter, the Prime Minister wrote a message which read, 'Looking Good, Anurag Thakur'.

Anurag Thakur was donning the funky hoodie while speaking to the media on his government's decision to grant 10% quota to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). On the day when the government was to introduce the bill at the floor of the house in Lok Sabha, the BJP MP said,

"This is a historic announcement. Poor people will be able to avail the benefits of this. We have worked to help the people since the last four-five years. I welcome the 10% reservation announced by the Centre for economically weaker sections of the upper caste. PM Narendra Modi's policies have helped to uplift the poor in the country."

Following that, Anurag Thakur took to Twitter to ask his other colleagues, including the likes of Kiren Rijiju, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Devendra Fadnavis to don a similar hoodie and post about it.

His attire got noticed on Twitter, with social media users praising his style statement.
