Virender Singh Sehwag’s message

Former opener and Indian cricketer, Virender Sehwag, in his video message highlighted the importance of teamwork to eliminate Dengue.

He said, “Hello Delhiites, I support the war against Dengue and the new campaign of working towards eliminating dengue on every Sunday. Just like we need teamwork to become a champion that is exactly how we need many champions to defeat dengue. Apart from your own personal bid to eliminate dengue, you will have to help your neighbours as well. The more you help people; you will get closer to becoming a champion.”

After this part, a voice over runs behind the video and urges people to spread the message. “Apart from your own homes, every champion should at least call up their ten friends and ask them to check their houses,” said the voiceover. Later, Virender Sehwag continues and repeats the slogan. He says, “We have to work for 10 weeks at 10’o clock for 10 minutes and only then we can defeat dengue and call ourselves a champion”.
