Novelist Chetan Bhagat frequently shares his opinion on social media on diverse topics, from politics to religion, from travel to many issues of the country.
On Sunday, he could not stop raving about this famous city, extolling foremost the city's commitment to cleanliness and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
He even complimented the people of the city for working for the cleanliness.
There were a lot of reactions to his tweets:
The Swachh Bharat movement seems to be close to the author's heart as he has often tweeted on the issue.
He had recently posted photos of Katra railway station, all of which showed that the place was so clean that floors shimmered under the light. The station's cleanliness was next to nothing and resembled nothing like most railway stations.
Katra station is the railway's entry point to reach the pilgrimage site Vaishnodevi.
"The shiny clean floors in the pictures are not at an airport or a station abroad. This is the railway station in Katra. One of the cleanest stations in India, at one of the holiest places on the planet!" Bhagat said in his tweet.
In June, he had hailed the Shatabdi Express' Anubhuti class as the best product by the Indian Railways. He even advised people to skip the Railways and take the train.
