BJP neta performs 'magic trick'; combines Cong, SP, BSP flags into BJP

BJP's Ajay Diwakar, in an unprecedented political campaign, attempted to woo voters for upcoming bypolls in state; makes SP, BSP, Congress flags to disappear

BJP's Ajay Diwakar, in an unprecedented political campaign, attempted to woo voters on Wednesday for the upcoming Assembly bypolls of Uttar Pradesh by using a magic trick while campaigning for BJP's Bharat Bhusan. The BJP leader demonstrated a magic trick in which he pretended to turn flags of BSP, SP, and Congress into the BJP flag.  

While performing the magic trick, Diwakar said that BSP, SP, and Congress are all contesting elections, however, only the BJP will come out as the winner. He then went on to perform the magic trick during which he first showcased the flag of three parties to the assembled crowd and later showed the magic trick of converting them to the BJP flag.

BJP's Diwakar, a councillor from Moradabad was campaigning for party leader Bharat Bhusan who is contesting the by-election from Rampur Assembly constituency against SP senior leader Azam Khan's wife Tanzeen Fatima. The seat fell vacant after Azam Khan was elected to Lok Sabha during the general election this year. 11 Assembly constituencies including Rampur will be going to polls in Uttar Pradesh on October 21.

Azam Khan, the senior SP leader turning emotional, linked his religion to the raids and charges against him in land grab case during an election rally in Rampur. In an election rally for the upcoming by-polls, the Rampur MP, while campaigning for his wife said that in his long political career in which he has always stood up for the masses, he had not gained anything but had only been questioned for being a 'Muslim'

He said, "If a person hates others on the basis of caste and religion then a roadside sick dog is better than him. There are chances that in the coming days if you go out with your sister, wife or mother you will be asked by the police to prove your relationship with that girl."

SP Neta dresses as groom to meet Azam Khan

In a bizarre incident in Uttar Pradesh, on September 14, an SP leader had dressed up like a groom to escape the arrest by Uttar Pradesh Police, and meet with Azam Khan. The SP leader from Sambhal Firoz Khan on Friday wore groom's sehra in an attempt to dodge the UP Police and enter the constituency of Rampur, where Section 144 was imposed. Even after being caught by the Police, Firoz Khan extended support to the SP leader Azam Khan who was locked up over the several cases against him. UP Police had imposed Section 144 in the constituency to prevent any untoward incident that may hamper the law and order situation.
