Body of missing girl found

The body of a girl, who was missing for the last four days, has been found in West Singhbhum district, police said on Thursday. The four-year-old girl's father had filed a missing report with the police, after which a search was launched for the missing girl, a police officer said.

A group of children, who went to the jungle to graze cattle, on Wednesday spotted the decomposed body near Babriya village and informed the villagers.

A police team went to the spot and recovered the highly decomposed body. Whether the girl was raped before being killed would be known only after we get the postmortem report, the officer said.
