Responding to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's offer to conduct impartial investigations in the Pulwama attack, the Indian government on Wednesday handed over a dossier to Pakistan on "specific details" of involvement of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). Republic TV has accessed the details mentioned in the dossier of investigation with regards to the Jaish module involved in the conspiracy of the attacks. Below are the points highlighted in the documents submitted by India.

  • Training camp details of Pulwama attack mastermind.
  • Call intercept of Kamran and Abdul Rasheed Ghazi shared
  • The call details reveal that Ghazi was talking about training for new recruits
  • NIA reports as Annexure
  • Details of the investigation with regards to the Jaish module involved in the conspiracy of the attacks
  • Video and audio evidence of Maulana Masood Azhar’s rallies in PoK where he said that attack will take place in India soon
  • 60 Jaish terrorists were trained in the last three months in the Balakot training camp

Earlier on Wednesday, an MEA statement said this dossier contains "specific details of JeM complicity in Pulwama terror attack, the presence of JeM terror camps and its leadership in Pakistan." The statement further said that "it was conveyed to the Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan that India expects Pakistan to take immediate and verifiable action against terrorism emanating from territories under its control."

The Indian government's decision to hand over the dossier may be a significant development in the ongoing standoff between the two countries.

Earlier on Thursday, exposing Pakistan's brazen and obstinate strategy of denial over just about anything related to its well-established support for terrorism, pictures have now been accessed of the downed Pakistan Air Force F-16 that was shot down by the Indian Air Force while thwarting Pakistan's attempt to infiltrate into Indian airspace and attack its military bases.

Meanwhile, the government of India acknowledged that IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was captured by the Pakistani forces after fighter jets of both nations engaged in an air battle on Wednesday morning, in a major escalation of hostilities.

In a demarche issued to the acting high commissioner of Pakistan, the Ministry of External Affairs said it expects his immediate and safe return. The government also strongly objected to “Pakistan’s vulgar display” of the injured pilot in violation of all norms of International Humanitarian Law and the Geneva Convention.

“It was made clear that Pakistan would be well advised to ensure that no harm comes to the Indian defence personnel in its custody,” the government said in a statement.

In the aftermath of the Pulwama attack by Pak-sponsored Jaish-e-Mohammed, ties between India and Pakistan have sharply deteriorated, escalating tension on the international border. On February 14, 2019, Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber rammed explosives-laden vehicle into a bus ferrying CRPF jawans in Pulwama district in which 40 soldiers were martyred. India strongly retaliated to the cowardly attack by conducting an air strike in which terror camps of JeM in Pakistan were turned into dust and more than 245 on-foot soldiers and terrorists were killed in a matter of 17 minutes.

All political parties of India, national as well as regional, came together in the fight against terror-friendly neighbour and even the citizens shouted slogans hailing the sacrifice of the forces. Moreover, India revoked the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status that was unilaterally accorded to Pakistan over 20 years ago. The government of India also resolved to isolate Pakistan on the global stage. US, Australia, France, and other world countries issued statements condemning Pakistan for breeding terrorists on their soil and asserted that the world's patience on terrorist safe havens is running thin.
