After Rahul Gandhi attacked PM Narendra Modi and politicised national security issue after China blocked the resolution to designate JeM chief Masood Azhar in the UNSC, former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah also hit out at the Prime Minister and the government.
The National Conference chief even connected the delay of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls to China's move in the UNSC. He even called the delaying of the polls as a "giving a victory to Pakistan". He blamed PM Modi for China's action of using its right to veto in the UNSC over resolution against Masood Azhar, saying that PM Modi "surrendered to the country".
Here's what he tweeted:
"PM Modi surrendered to China on Azhar and surrendered to Pakistan & its proxies by delaying elections in J&K. How can the BJP claim to have been tough on internal security and tough against terror?"
He followed it up with:
"Mantri jee, your Government gave Pakistan a small victory when you postponed the Anantnag by-poll in 2017 and a big victory now that you’ve failed to conduct assembly elections. If anyone is giving Pakistan a reason to celebrate it isn’t @RahulGandhi. Look closer to home sir."
A day after China had blocked the resolution against Masood Azhar to list him as a designated terrorist in UNSC, Rahul Gandhi took potshot at PM Modi over the security threat issues concerning India.
Gandhi tweeted on Thursday calling PM Modi 'weak' and saying that he is scared of Chinese President Xi Jinping to act against the country.
