In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, PM Modi had announced a 'Janta curfew' to be implemented on Sunday, March 22, a self-imposed curfew from 7 am to 9 pm which got popular reception.

In a tweet, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan endorsed the 'Janata Curfew' that is set to kick in at 7 am on Sunday. PM Narendra Modi had announced the self-imposed curfew initiative in his address to the nation on Thursday in the wake of coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Khan called for prayers for those "working day and night" to keep others safe, in a clear reference to health workers battling the outbreak.

Endorsing the Janta Curfew, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath urged people the maintain social distancing and said that the state government has taken measures. 

"Janta Curfew is being observed across the country today. It is a battle against Coronavirus. Social distancing is the best way to defeat the pandemic and prevent its spread. State govt has taken all essential measures to fight COVID-19," Yogi Adityanath said.

But at the same time, you have to understand that 80% of patients don't get any symptoms. This is not one day, we have to follow it probably for weeks and months.
