Cyclone Bulbul has weakened over the coast of West Bengal and is now moving towards Bangladesh. It is expected to weaken into a depression. The cyclone made landfall at West Bengal’s Sagar island around 8 pm on Saturday and is expected to move northeastwards into neighbouring Bangladesh, hovering over the Sunderbans delta.
