Delhi Hit-and-run case: Accused arrested, caught changing car parts
The people accused of mowing through a crowd of people were arrested after they were found erasing the evidence of the damages in Model Town hit-and-run case.

New details have emerged in the Model Town ‘Hit and Run’ case that took place in Delhi on Sunday, September 01. Following the investigation, the two accused of mowing through a crowd of people have been arrested. They were found attempting to erase the evidence of the damages that occurred to their car after the black sedan was seen ramming into the people on Sunday in the Gupta colony of Model Town. While they managed to replace some parts of the car, other parts were yet to be repaired.
The Accident
The horrific visuals show the black car trying to flee after the accident happened. While the car was trying to escape the accident spot it was confronted by a crowd of people and started ploughing through them. In an attempt to stop the car, a man jumped on it and started kicking the windshield. The car later rushed through angry mob injuring many people on the way.

Noida-based businessman’s son rams into a WagonR
In a similar incident that took place in Delhi, a Noida-based 19-year-old boy was seen ramming his Mercedes into a WagonR. The accident injured the CRPF personnel who were traveling in the car that was hit. The accident took place in South Delhi’s Greater Kailash 1 where the Noida-based businessman’s son ran-down a red light, hit the WagonR and climbed the divider bumping into an electric pole. The three people sitting in the WagonR were rushed to the hospital after being injured. Delhi police told PTI that, "Last night (On the night of the incident) the accident occurred at 10:59 PM. A Mercedes hit a WagonR, after jumping the red light. There were three people in the WagonR, and work in the CRPF. One has been discharged, while the other has died. The car has been taken into custody." The 19-year-old teenager driving the Mercedes was arrested, however, he was bailed out as the sections that he was booked under were bailable offenses.
