Multiple videos have surfaced from Delhi showing young men dancing atop cars, sitting on window panes, while affecting the traffic near North Campus in DU.

In an unprecedented incident, multiple videos have surfaced from Delhi on Saturday showing young men dancing atop cars, sitting on window panes, while affecting the traffic in the area. The videos allegedly surfaced near the North Campus of Delhi University on Friday night, following the announcement of the DUSU election results. As per reports, the young men belonging to various Delhi University colleges were allegedly celebrating the DUSU results in which ABVP won three out of four posts by creating menace on the roads near North Campus. 

The visuals show the young boys dancing, screaming and celebrating by standing on the top of their moving cars and bonnets to Bollywood songs. Multiple cars were seen in the videos, which have now gone viral on social media.

Delhi Police takes cognisance

As per a recent report by news agency PTI, the Delhi Police has stated that they are analysing the viral videos showing the young men dancing atop cars near the North Campus area. Taking cognisance of the incident, the police has also asserted that appropriate action will be taken against the violators.

"We are analysing the persons, who are seen in the videos, and appropriate action will be taken against them for the act," said Anil Mittal, Additional PRO of the Delhi Police speaking in the matter. Meanwhile, as per inputs, no FIR has been registered yet in the incident. Police is investigating viral videos.

DUSU election results announced

The Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) election results were announced on Friday. BJP-led ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) repeated its last year's victory and dominated the polls by winning three out of four posts in the elections. ABVP won the posts of President, Vice President and Joint Secretary, while the Congress party-led NSUI (National Students' Union of India) turned out to be the winner of only one post - Secretary.
