Tanushree Dutta's allegations on veteran actor Nana Patekar has created a massive stir in the industry. The former Bollywood actress recently shed light on the incident that happened 10 years ago on the sets of the film, 'Horn OK Pleassss'. She accused the actor of misconduct on the sets of a song from the movie. Dutta claimed that the choreographer, Ganesh Acharya had insisted her on doing intimidate steps with Patekar.
Amidst allegation, the actor had flown to Jaisalmer in Rajasthan to shoot for Sajid Khan's 'Housefull 4'.The film also boasts of an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol and Kriti Sanon among others. Earlier on Saturday, October 6, Republic TV tracked Nana Patekar as he was leaving for Mumbai from the Jodhpur airport. He was surrounded by armed officials as they escorted him into the airport.
As the actor landed at Mumbai Airport, he was confronted by a Republic TV reporter. Answering to the reporter, he said that all allegations made are "a lie"
Speaking to Republic TV earlier, he had doled out details about the matter saying, "We sent out the legal notice to Tanushree on Friday evening and she will receive it by end of day today. The allegations have been denied and we have also asked for an apology in writing. We have also said that you knew that the allegations were false still made it in the view to malign and defame my client and he has received several calls where people have been surprised and that by itself is amongst the defamation. And we have said in case you don't send an apology, we will file criminal proceedings against you."
Meanwhile, Tanushree Dutta has received two legal notice, one each from Nana Patekar and Vivek Agnihotri. She had accused Vivek Agnihotri of asking her to strip naked on the sets of the film 'Chocolate' in 2005. Dutta has been receiving multiple threats from the political party MNS and Nana Patekar, and is currently under police protection. Nana Patekar and Ganesh Acharya will be holding a press conference on October 8.
