Explosion in Pulwama school, students injured: LIVE UPDATES
A blast has taken place in Madsara school at the Singoo Narbal village of Pulwama district in Kashmir, resulting in injuries to 10 students as per the initial reports.

A blast has taken place in Madrasa (school) at the Singoo Narbal village of Pulwama district in Kashmir, resulting in injuries to 10 students as per the initial reports.
The explosion happened on Wednesday afternoon, following which the injured were rushed to the District hospital in Pulwama. The security forces immediately reached the spot.

The number of students who have suffered injuries have gone up to 13. Initial reports suggest that all of them were between the 9-15 age group.

It is suggested that some of the students have been critically injured, and could well be shifted to Srinagar hospital.

Preliminary verification suggests that one of the students was carrying some explosive material in his bag, which went off, resulting in injuries to around 13 students of 10th class who were there for tuition.
