For all those who questioned the authenticity of the letters accessed by Republic TV, here is another evidence that the urban naxal lobby would find it hard to defend. A letter written by a senior committee member to one Comrade Prashant. This time the letter, which mentions the Communist Party of India (Maoist) on the masthead, has a shocking content. The letter names the government and security forces as ‘enemies’. In the letter, dated February 10, 2017, the main aim is to fight the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) - a law brought in by the UPA government. However, with change in the government, the enemy for the urban naxals has also changed. The letter also reveals the second PM Modi mention as it says:
“We also need to push for wider demonstrations against the draconian law (UAPA). In the face of powerful repressive, Modi regime and its growing influence among people, there is a need to create wider awareness about this unconstitutional law which is used to crush dissent.”
The letter also exposes an attempt to derail professor Sai Baba’s verdict on behest of maoists while attacking the judiciary as it says:
“I am well aware of the Judge’s inclination regarding this case (Sai Baba case) and it is a cause of worry for us all. I would advise to make every effort to ‘delay’ the judgment until May/June when we might get better chance to secure Sai’s release.”
Earlier in the day, Republic TV accessed another letter written by Comrade (advocate) Sudha Bhardwaj to one comrade Prakash. The letter accessed by Republic TV talked at length about the meeting that took place on March 19, 2017 in Nagpur. The meeting was attended by those -- Comrade Surendra Gadling and Comrade Shoma Sen -- who were arrested by Pune police in the Bhima-Koregaon case. What is shocking is that this goes beyond their ideology -- a nefarious design that has been exposed. What certainly comes across is the direct link between urban naxals and Kashmiri separatists.
“Comrade Ankit and Comrade Gautam Navlakha are in touch with Kashmiri separatists. Human rights violations by the enemy in Kashmir must be broadcast on social media and through other media houses. Legal aid has to be provided for pellet gun case in SC, for which you must get in touch with Comrade Prashant,” said the letter.
