Exposing the malicious intent of the front of Khalistani groups in their quest to 'Break India', Republic TV conducted a sting operation on members of the organization in Britain, which revealed some shocking details.
In one instance during the investigation, which was fronted by Republic TV's Shawan Sen, Shamsher Singh of National Sikh Youth Federation claimed that the 'armed struggle is the only way' and that the group has killed over 2,700 police officers till date, as well as the Prime Minister and Chief Minister in order to make their statement.
At one point during the sting operation, Shamsher spoke about as to what the group is doing to 'destabilize India'.
"Armed struggle is the only way. Investing in armed struggle and destabilizing India, how they have been operating for the last 30 years, assassinating Indian government officials, attacking military bases, attacking police officials and you know - soldiers. And Khalistanis have a hit list somewhere of all these people running around like 'saini' and 'alam' and all these black cats and all police officers that escaped so many commissions," he said.
The biggest revelation which came out from this sting operation was that organization had killed a total of 2,700 police officers.
"The biggest action of the movement. We have killed 2,700 police officers of various ranks. We have killed the PM, CM, Generals of the army. These are all targeted killings," Shamsher added."
During the course of the investigation, the link of Pakistan with these groups was all but confirmed by the member of National Sikh Youth Federation. While claiming that the neighboring country is 'pro-Khalistan', he said, "Pakistan is our ally. And Pakistan has not committed any genocide against Sikhs. Pakistan recognises Khalistan as a legitimate nation."
