Clearly none of the people in this thread have broken into anything. This is a 40 second problem tops.

A twitter user said that the same thing happened to him once while he was in the first year of NYC when during a winter morning he was trapped outside in the balcony while his Umbrella was inside the room and how with one inch open he called out his roommate for his rescue. Another user asked if they could force open the door as the umbrella will give them a way out. A twitter user joked saying if it rains outside, the man cannot even use his umbrella. The Umbrella owner reacts
The Umbrella owner Mike Ponticelli speaking to foreign media said that it was on Friday that he left his workplace without his Umbrella. When he arrived at his office on Monday morning, it locked out all the employees of the office. He then said that by Tuesday, his Umbrella became a meme material.
He said that he and the other employees tried all they could to open the door but the umbrella had fallen so perfectly that all the tricks failed. He then said that they called WeWork, the company managing the office space and they were also confused. For two days, all methods were tried to open the door. WeWork even sent an engineer but even that engineer could not open the door. A hole was then made in the ceiling of the workspace that is on the fourth floor, from the fifth floor and wire was used to pry loose the umbrella. The workers were then back in the office.
