Update at 8:54 AM: A medium category fire broke out at a paper card factory in Naraina Industrial Area, Phase I, early morning today; Total 23 fire tenders engaged in fire fighting operations, no casualties reported

A massive fire broke out at a paper cards factory in Naraina area of Delhi on Thursday morning. Atleast 20 fire tenders are present at the spot as the efforts to douse flames continued. The incident took place around 7 AM in the morning. The cause of the fire could yet not be ascertained.

On Wednesday,  fire broke out in a slum in Delhi's Paschim Puri area in which atleast 250 huts were gutted. The cause of the fire was suspected to be a short-circuit. 26 water tenders were rushed to the spot and the injured were shifted to the hospital. The incident created commotion, people were forced to spend the night on the roads in the cold.
