After the historic decision taken by the Indian government on the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35 A, Pakistan has been rattled. Reason: they expected a backlash from Kashmir which did not happen. So the Pakistani establishment, remote-controlled by Pakistan Army, decided to internationalise Kashmir issue which once again backfired. Pakistan received no support from UNHRC as well as the international community.
India has made it very clear that the only discussion that will take place with Pakistan is on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The strong statement made last month by Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh on PoK has spooked Pakistan. What else explains the sudden heavy deployment in the area and Prime Minister Imran Khan making a hastily decided visit to Muzaffarabad. The rally turned out to be a significant embarrassment for Imran Khan.
Republic TV has accessed details of what transpired in the rally. From empty chairs to pro-India slogans, Imran Khan left the rally completely riled up. In fact, top sources say that the chief secretary of PoK has been summoned to GHQ. In fact, we are also learning that there is a high possibility of the chief secretary being replaced.
The rally was boycotted by Kashmiris. In fact, pictures accessed by Republic TV show that there were empty chairs in the rally. Thereafter, the Pakistani establishment arranged for the audience from Pindi and other nearby areas. The audience was mostly army sepoys from regiment stations in Abbottabad and Rawalpindi where GHQ is situated. Videos accessed by Republic TV show that the crowd started chanting pro-India slogans. The Muzaffarabad gathering was projected as “Kashmir Solidarity Jalsa”. "Go Niazi go back" reverberated when the rally began. An obsessed Imran Khan took Prime Minister’s name over 9 times in his speech sprinkled with RSS utterings at least 6 times.
